Ville Tikkanen moves to HJK’s shirt in the Veikkausliiga with a two-year contract.

Tikkanen has played his entire adult career in SJK and served as the captain of Seinjoki players last season. The contract with HJK is for two years.

– There were a few good options on the table, also from abroad. My goal is to play abroad for a long time, but now I wanted to think about my own career, Tikkanen said in HJK’s bulletin.

Tikkanen is a player originally from Oulu, but moved to SJK as a B-junior. He has played seven national matches for the under-19s, three of which were in Seinäjoki in the age group EC final tournament in the summer of 2018.

– As a player, Ville is at his best age and with the experience of over a hundred league games. He brings ball skills, speed and game-like leadership to the defensive line, HJK’s sports director Petri Vuorinen comment on the acquisition.
