Russia, which often warns especially Western countries that supports Ukraine, once again targeted the United States. Calling on the US, Russia stated that if it continues to arm Ukraine, there will be unprecedented results.
“We call on the United States and its allies to stop the irresponsible arming of Ukraine that could have unprecedented consequences for regional and international security,” said the diplomatic note sent by Russia to the United States, the Washington Post reported.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 with a move it described as a “special military operation”, and Western states responded to this step with very heavy sanctions. Many Western states provide weapons, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine.
LAVROV SAID “THEY WILL BE TARGET”
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced on April 13 that they would consider US and NATO vehicles carrying weapons to Ukraine as legitimate military targets.
TASS news agency reported that Ryabkov said, “We warn that we will consider US-NATO arms shipments to Ukrainian territory as legitimate military targets.” (Reuters)
