The court ruled on an appeal from summary proceedings between Utrecht Holdings (UH), the manager of the business activities of Utrecht University, and Van Strien’s successor as UH director. That is an intermediate step in their legal battle. Together with the PVV member, this associate is said to have cheated UH of many hundreds of thousands of euros.
