Truls Möregårdh and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have flirted a lot.
And we can see a historic duel between the Swedish sports stars.
Now truls comes with a completely cocky outburst to the childhood idol Zlatan.
It all started with that Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted a clip on Instagram of him playing table tennis. With the words “challenge me”, he invited all his followers to play ping pong against him – and one of the world’s best players took the plunge.
Zlatan’s first words
Truls Möregårdh created great ping-pong fever at the Summer Olympics this year when he made it to double Olympic finals in Paris and salvaged two brag-like Olympic silvers for Sweden. He saw Zlatan’s post and immediately wrote a comment to get a historic ping-pong match between the two.

But he never got an answer from “Ibra”. After more than a month of waiting, the first words came from Ibrahimovic, in connection with his inauguration of his new padel hall in Sollentuna.
– I see him, I hear him. I’m not quite there yet, but it would have been fun to play, he said then.
Möregårdh’s answer
Möregårdh still seems to be very keen to get the match against his childhood idol and now comes with a cocky answer to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
– I am very ready. As long as I know when, where and how, I’ll go down as soon as I can. It would be among the coolest and most powerful things you can do, says the 22-year-old to SVT.
– I would be happy to go down to Milan and meet him there, if he wants to.

Certainly there will be a class difference between a retired soccer player and one of the world’s best table tennis players right now. But Truls Möregårdh is convinced that Zlatan can give him a proper match.
– It’s still Zlatan we’re talking about, so he has a good chance against everyone. With that self-confidence, you will go far. It will be fun to play a little ball with him, he tells the TV channel.
