The cult show Les Enfants de la Télé is celebrating its 30th anniversary on France 2! With or without Arthur, who had skipped the last big celebration?
It’s one of television’s most famous and enduring entertainments. Children of TV blows out its 30 candles this year and to mark the event, France 2 has scheduled a special anniversary program entitled “The anniversary of the Children of TV, 30 years!”, on Saturday November 23, 2024 in prime time, at 9:10 p.m. .
In the cast of this great evening, we will find faces well known to viewers and closely linked to the history of the program. Michèle Bernier, Hélène Ségara, Liane Foly and Élie Semoun will be present on the set, who were already among the guests when the show was launched in 1994. Comedians Bruno Solo, Booder and Jeanfi Janssens will complete this beautiful set.
On the other hand, a major absentee could disappoint early fans. Indeed, the presence of Arthur, historic and emblematic host of Les Enfants de la Télé from the T1 era, has not yet been confirmed. The troublemaker of the PAF, who carried the show for many years, had already declined the invitation for the 25th anniversary of the program in 2019. After a message broadcast in the show and addressed to Laurent Ruquier at the time, the The host had published his best memory on social networks.
Laurence Boccolini at the presentation
“I had the chance to create and present this show and even today it continues its journey. I think of my friend Magic Tchernia without whom this adventure could not have existed. My most beautiful TV memories”, had- he writes. He thinks that his very busy schedule at the end of 2024 could once again prevent him from being at the party.
In addition to the cult sequences, the laughs and the never-before-seen archive images, the production promises great surprises to viewers for this anniversary edition. Throughout the evening, several other notable personalities from the television world will make appearances to properly celebrate the program’s 30th anniversary.
Laurent Ruquier having left for other skies (and more prosaically towards BFMTV then TF1), it is Laurence Boccolini who will be at the presentation. The new mistress of ceremonies since October 2023 seems very enthusiastic about the idea of celebrating this anniversary: “It’s a big responsibility, I’m happy to be able to celebrate the thirty years of a show that I saw born,” said she indicated.
