Donald Trump will soon move into the White House for four new years.
But fans are already looking ahead.
A campaign wants to take 18-year-old son Barron to the presidency in 2044.
Why then?
Well, in 2044, Barron Trump has fulfilled the last of four basic requirements to become President of the United States:
Be born in the country, a US citizen, have lived in the US for at least 14 years of your life – and be over 35 years old, writes Sky News in a news analysis of the campaign that has started popping up online.
Is a cult figure
For the staunch Make America Great Again fans – who have already begun to mourn that Donald Trump must constitutionally leave the White House after his second term – the 18-year-old could be the one to carry the movement into the future.
An online search turns up t-shirts, buttons, coffee mugs and notebooks emblazoned with “Barron Trump 2044.”
The (according to information) 207 centimeter blonde teenager has become something of a cult figure in MAGA circles where they like to emphasize his “aristocratic appearance”, writes Sky News.
Barron is said to have been an important weapon already in this election for the father and his staff.

Praised for the men
The son is said to have been the driving force in selecting podcasts aimed at millions of young men for Donald Trump to participate in.
It was a success.
56 percent of male voters between the ages of 18 and 28 voted for Trump this year. In the 2020 election, 41 percent of the electorate voted for him.
– Barron has been very involved in recommending a number of podcasts that we should do, says adviser Jason Miller in an interview with Politico the week before the election.
– I have to say, hats off to the young man. Every recommendation he has made has proven to be total gold in viewership.
Trump’s interview with comedian Theo Von in his “This Past Weekend” alone has been viewed 15 million times.
– “Dad, he’s big. He’s the big one,” Trump said during the interview about Barron’s words that prompted him to appear on “This Past Weekend,” according to the New York Post.
Spoke with Slovenian accent
The name Barron has long been a favorite of Donald Trump.
When he tried to make a name for himself as a businessman in New York, he sometimes called reporters, pretended to be Trump’s colleague “John Barron” and praised his various successes, writes Sky News.

Mother Melania and her parents are said to have been closest to Barron during his growing up years. Grandma and grandpa moved to the US from Slovenia and the 18-year-old is fluent in Slovenian.
When he was a child, he spoke English with the same Slovenian accent as Melania, despite living in the United States all his life with an American father, writes Sky News.
Trump stated this spring that the son, despite being basically invisible during the father’s presidential campaign and not participating in any campaign meetings, gives him strategic advice.
“Not so smart”
– He is a bit tall, I can say that. He’s a tall one, but it’s a good-looking guy. And he has been great at school. And he likes politics. It’s pretty funny, Trump said in a radio interview in May.
– He says to me sometimes: “Dad, you have to do this”.

Is it then likely that it will be Barron – if anyone – in the family who carries the dynasty on? He actually has four older siblings.
This is what Sky News says:
Eldest sons Donald Jr and Eric “are eager but not very bright, even in the eyes of the father”, eldest daughter Ivanka “has repeatedly said she has left politics behind” and second daughter Tiffany “was raised by her mother and stays away from campaigning”.
“It puts the burden of expectation on Barron’s shoulders,” writes Sky News.
