Twenty dead in a storm in the Philippines landed

At least 163 people have died in the Philippines in about a month as a result of the storms.

In the Philippines, around 255,000 people have been evacuated from their homes due to the Man-yi storm, the country’s authorities say.

The storm is expected to intensify further when it makes landfall on Catanduanes Island in the eastern Philippines late Saturday or early Sunday local time.

Man-yi is warned to bring with it heavy rains that can cause mudslides on the slopes of volcanoes.
