But she was denied a project, even though she was already a big star when she wanted to film the drama Million Dollar Baby. Directed by Clint Eastwood, the story of an amateur boxer and her trainer later became a huge success.
Sandra Bullock showed interest in Million Dollar Baby early on
Back in 2005, the Irish Examiner reported that Sandra Bullock had originally attempted to adapt the Million Dollar Baby story. But she came across it Resistance from the studios and decided to put the project on hold for the time being. At the same time, she didn’t let go of the potential of this special story:
