XIAOMI BUDS 5 DESIGN

Positioned at the top of Xiaomi’s wireless headset family, Xiaomi Buds 5 is produced in accordance with today’s design approach. Although we tested the titan gray color option of the headset, the device is also available in ceramic white and night black color options on the market. Xiaomi Buds 5 has an ergonomic structure to sit comfortably in the ear. The headphones, which we keep in our ears for long hours, are one of the wireless headphones that offer the best comfort on the market. The headset, which managed to impress us thanks to its lightweight design, adopts the open ear design.

In the model where a silicone tip is not preferred, glossy and matte surfaces are also seen in the charging box of the device. Offering a stylish design line in the charging box, the headset provides protection against water splashes and dust thanks to its IP54 certification. Although the device is splash-resistant, it is not completely water-resistant. When the charging box is opened, the entire headphones are visible, unlike other headphones whose stems are hidden in the body. Due to design, the headphones are easily removed from the charging box.

Control in the headset is provided by the compression method. Once the headset is clamped, incoming calls can be answered or ended. Playing and stopping music can also be done with a single pinch movement. When compressed twice, the incoming call is rejected or the next track is skipped. Three compression movements return to the previous track. By pressing and holding the headset for two seconds, the ANC feature is turned on or off. The volume is easily controlled by swiping up or down on one side.
