(Finance) – Interpumpa group that is part of the FTSE MIB and is active in the production of water pumps and in the hydraulic sector, has registered net sales of the first nine months of 2024 equal to 1,588.5 million euros, down by 7.7% compared to the 1,720.4 million of the corresponding period of the previous year; the changes on a like-for-like basis and on an organic basis, equal to -9.6% and -9.4% respectively, are substantially similar.
THE’EBITDA it amounted to 363.5 million euros, down 14.6% compared to the 425.6 million in the corresponding period of 2023 (-15.8% on an organic basis). The incidence on sales was 22.9%, compared to the 24.7% recorded in the reference period of the previous financial year (-14.0% with a margin of 23.0% compared to 24.2% on a organic and excluding the non-recurring income recorded in the first nine months of 2023). THE’net profit consolidated revenue for the period amounted to 180.4 million euros, down 25%.
“The third quarter results confirm the solid resilient capabilities of our Group – commented the executive president Fulvio Montipò – In a context of general complexity, diversification by product and territory confirms a reassuring stability index. In the absence of unlikely short-term changes in the scenarios, we expect, on an organic basis, a slight contraction in turnover in the order of a high single digit while EBITDA should maintain excellent values between 22.5% and 23% of the turnover”.
As of September 30, 2024 the net financial position is equal to 441.1 million euros, compared to 486.5 million at 31 December 2023. Investments amounted to 101.3 million euros, while 82.3 million euros were dedicated to the purchase of equity investments.
