SaiPa and KalPa, who are fourth and fifth in the ice hockey league, captured their positions when the domestic main series returned to real action after the international break.
The hottest team in the ice hockey league, SaiPa, increased its winning streak to seven games after defeating Kärpät with 4–3 goals in Kisapuisto.
