Erlend Elias Bragstad is today one of Norway’s biggest celebrities. He has built his career both as an influencer and as a participant in several of Norway’s biggest TV programs.
His whole career he has played on his Sami heritage. He has been dressed in black and referred to the fact that he comes from a Sami family. But he didn’t even know himself how it actually was.
Believes to be Sami
Like many others of that generation, his grandmother and grandfather never wanted to talk about the fact that they were possibly Sami. However, the family found Sami attributes in the basement after their death and have since assumed that they come from a Sami family.
What is true and what is not will now be sorted out in the new TV series “Red carpet or reindeer?”.
With the help of genealogists, Erlend Elias Bragstad will find out what the family ties look like. At the same time that he will try to make a living in, among other things, reindeer herding for 30 days.
