RAF terrorist arrested in Germany charged with multiple robberies

A left-wing terrorist arrested in Germany last spring Daniela Klette66, has been charged with multiple robberies.

Klette, a member of the Red Army Corps (RAF), was arrested in February after decades on the run. According to the prosecutor, Klette financed his life by robbing with his two companions, whom the police are still looking for.

Klette is accused of twelve robberies and one attempted robbery during the years 1999-2016. In total, according to the researchers, the group managed to steal more than 2.7 million euros in cash. Klette is also accused of attempted murder in connection with the attempted robbery.

The charges brought against Klette concern the period after the end of the RAF’s operations. A separate investigation is underway into Klette’s activities in the RAF.

The RAF was formerly also known as the Baader-Meinhof group. RAF terrorists once killed more than 30 people in Germany.
