It prevents Netgsm subscribers from accessing the base station. “We expect that communication, which is a constitutional right, will not be hindered and that the BTK Board Decision will be implemented immediately.” Thereupon, the following was stated from the official account today: “We are still waiting for the implementation of BTK’s Board Decision No. 2024/UK-ETD/412 dated 25.10.2024 by the relevant operator. Communication access agreements are subject to the approval and regulation, if necessary, of BTK, the regulatory and supervisory authority. This is not the first time that an operator in Turkey has not openly implemented BTK’s Board Decision. Monopolistic mentality that is disturbed by the affordable service we offer to citizens; By blocking communication, it acts contrary to Article 22 of the Constitution, Article 124/1 of the Turkish Penal Code and BTK legislation. The relevant operator has the obligation to provide base station services to virtual mobile operators in the concession agreement. We would like to remind you that in accordance with the BTK Administrative Sanctions Regulation, the relevant operator must be ensured to comply with the legal order through administrative fines due to this seriously faulty action that violates public order, otherwise his authorization must be terminated/cancelled in line with BTK legislation. Our struggle continues.”
