The actor and the director Helena Bergström60, is featured in SVT’s series The Pirate Bay, which is about the Swedish file-sharing site that was founded in the early 2000s by Gottfrid Svartholm, Fredrik Neij and Peter Sunde.
In SVT’s six-episode drama series, Bergström plays the lawyer Monique Wadstedwho during the Pirate Bay trials represented the American film companies.

Helena Bergström actually got to audition for the role of Wadsted – something Helena hadn’t done in three decades. The subject of file sharing felt so important, Helena Bergström told in an interview with TT.
– I remember Pirate Bay so well, I have made films with my own film company and remember the enormous horror that they would be copied, she said then.

In connection with the premiere of The Pirate Bay series on SVT, Helena Bergström has done interviews with, among others, Sveriges Radio – but the otherwise active Helena Bergström has not been able to make it to her own machine.
On Instagram, Helena Bergström has shown clips of how she is driven around in a wheelchair by her PR manager Aida Amoliand in an interview with The morning shift in P3 so Helena Bergström told more about the reason why she sits in a wheelchair.

– You learn a lot from this. I have never been so disabled in my life. Although I have exposed myself to…I ride almost every day, jump quite high hurdles, I am out walking dogs, Helena told Morgonpasset.
Helena also went into more detail about what happened when she injured herself so much that she is now in a wheelchair. It was after a day in the stable that she tripped – on her dog Albert.
– Now I tripped over my French bulldog. He was very happy, we were in the stable and I had fed and so, then I have a giant dog who is a labradoodle and then I have Albert who is like a rock. He does a french bulldog flip, and when I say we’re done, he just dances in and gets tangled up in my legs, so I trip and fly right on my foot. Then I couldn’t go. It then turned out that I have a kind of stirrup injury, and when I googled it, it said that it usually leads to surgery, Helena Bergström said.

After she tripped, she laid down on the floor crying, and then the dogs came to her. Helena then turned to Albert and cried “how can you be this stupid?” and she also gave the dog a “larvy ear file”
– Poor dog. Then I crawled on all fours, I was alone, so I crawled out to the car and drove home anyway. And then I had to go to hospital, and then they say I have a stirrup injury, she continued.
Helena Bergström had surgery and now has plates and screws in her foot. She uses crutches, but to make it on time in SVT’s and Sveriges Radio’s endless culverts, the wheelchair was a good solution.
We hope that Helena feels better soon!
