Air raid sirens sounded across most of Ukraine on Monday morning after Russian bombers took off from their bases.
“Enchantment! Danger for robots throughout Ukraine!”, writes the Ukrainian Air Force in a post on Telegram.
A moment earlier, the authorities announced that at least six people had been killed in Russian airstrikes in southern Ukraine.
Five of these were killed in Mykolaiv, writes the region’s governor Vitaly Kim in a post on Telegram.
A sixth person was killed in Russian bombing of Zaporizhzhya about 30 miles to the east, according to a Telegram post by Governor Ivan Fedorov. A further 18 people, including five children, are said to have been injured in the attack.
