US fighter jets have struck several targets of the Houthi rebels in Yemen, reports news agency AFP.
According to the US Department of Defense, the targets are weapons depots. Al Masirah, a television channel managed by the Houthis, says that the attacks targeted the area around Sana’a, the capital of Yemen.
The US and Britain have repeatedly struck Houthi targets in Yemen since January in response to rebel attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
