Handball: Benefit Sävehof in the fight to reach the European League: “It was an even match”

Both teams played in the Champions League last season without taking any points. Already after five minutes, Sävehof led 5-1.

– We knew it would be more even than that, although it’s always nice to get a good start to the match, says coach Andreas Wallin about the start of the match to the own website.

At 28-28, Sävehof took two plus balls to the return in Lubin (not to be confused with the larger city of Lublin) in south-west Poland on Saturday in a week’s time.

– Looking at today’s final result, they maintained a similar quality to us. We won by two balls, so it was an even game. In some situations it is noticeable that they have a little more routine than we do, while in another way we have a youthful enthusiasm, says Wallin.
