We at MeinMMO have looked at who the most relevant Twitch streamers in Germany will be in 2024, according to Google. In the ranking you can see that it is not the very young who dominate, but rather those who constantly have to listen to comments because of their age. 1st and 2nd place go head-to-head with two men in their 30s: They split Germany almost evenly.
How did the statistics come about? We measured on Google Trends which German Twitch streamers had the greatest interest by querying well-known German-speaking streamers and then always pitting the fifth-placed player against a challenger.
We also compared the results with the viewership statistics of the respective streamers, as can be found on the SullyGnome analysis site.

A faceless man in 5th place
Who is in 5th place? The Minecraft specialist BastiGHG (27) made it to 5th place. He’s only in 7th place for the most viewed hours, but interest in him is significantly higher than in some of the ones that rank before him.
BastiGHG certainly benefits from a large presence on YouTube and its content friendship with Papaplatte. He also streams a lot and regularly: he has been on the air every day for over 8 years.
BastiGHG is special on Twitch because he does not appear with his face but remains anonymous. Just like Minecraft streamer Dream did for years.
Interest in BastiGHG is currently at its highest in the year; “CraftAttack”, a big Minecraft event, is currently underway.
