Donald Trump takes home the swing state of Nevada by six electoral votes, reports NBC News. Thus, the Republican is officially up to over 300 electors – currently 301 against Kamala Harris’s 226.

In both 2016 and 2020, Trump lost Nevada to the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, respectively. Since then, the Republicans have increased in popularity among Hispanic voters in the state.

During the election campaign, Trump made several stops in the entertainment metropolis of Las Vegas and pressed hard on his promises of abolishing the tax on tips – in a state where many people work in the entertainment and hospitality industry.

Only one state – Arizona, with eleven electors – is still counting votes. Trump is in the lead, according to AP.
