(Finance) – Among the workers of sector privateThe workers they represent 55% of the total (9,628,133), followed by employees (37%), apprentices (4%), managers (3%) and managers (0.8%). Male workers make up 57% of the overall distribution. There average annual salary shows an increasing trend with increasing age, up to the 55-59 age range, and is significantly higher for workers maleswith a value of 27,080 euros compared to the 19,083 euros of the female workers. These are some of the data contained in the INPS Update on the Trend of Employees in the Private Sector.
Geographically31.5% of employees are concentrated in the North-West regions, followed by the North-East (23.4%), Center (20.7%), South (17%) and Islands (7.3% ). Only 0.1% of workers work abroad. Average salaries are higher in the Northern regions, with 27,852 euros in the North-West and 24,838 euros in the North-East. The Center records an average of 22,987 euros, while the South and the Islands have average salaries of 17,631 and 17,285 euros, respectively.
In 2023, the number of workers employees intermittent with at least one paid day was 722,935, highlighting an increase of 4% compared to 2022. Almost two thirds of these workers are employed in the Northern regions, with a female prevalence (52%). The average annual salary for intermittent workers stands at 2,579 euros, with peaks in the higher age groups.
As for the workers in administration938,397 employees were registered in 2023, down compared to the previous year (-3.7%). Again, the majority of workers are male (57.3%). The average salary for agency workers is 10,092 euros, with higher values for men (11,293 euros) than women (8,479 euros).
There distribution geographical of temporary workers shows that 68.7% are employed in the Northern regions, 18.2% in the Centre, 9.9% in the South and 3.2% in the Islands.
