Customers react strongly to the new chips
The chips have caused quite a stir online and people are both disgusted and curious about the chips.
“No thanks. I have a hard time with sweet chips and popcorn. I was really shocked when the popcorn was sweet in England,” writes one person in the comments under Lidl’s Facebook post.
“Oh wow, that sounds super delicious! I thought I’d be a bit useful now until Christmas. I’ll have to buy and wait to open”.
“Not super high. I wouldn’t say it tastes crunchy but sweet. Like a lot of spice on everything and deep fried like farm chips. Well, none I buy twice…”
“Doesn’t sound good. Super sweet chips”.
