The Helsinki Football Club suffered a 0–2 defeat at home to the Slovenian Olimpija Ljubljana in the league stage of the Football Conference League.
HJK was very involved in the game in the opening half, but Marko Brest gave Ljubljana the lead less than an hour into the game, and Peter Agba hit Final readings ten minutes later. Both goals resulted from HJK losing the ball.
The visitors got the ball into the goal for the third time, but the hit was rejected as offside.
HJK has now suffered two losses in the league stage and won once. It is in the last 24th place in the league stage, which qualifies for the playoffs. There are still 10 matches to be played in the third round.
HJK next plays in the Conference League against Panathinaikos on November 28. After that, there are still matches against Molde and Real Bet in December.
