Donald Trump has spoken to “about 70” world leaders since Wednesday morning.

He also defends his big election promise.

– We have no choice, he tells NBC News.

Late Thursday night, Donald Trump made his first major appointment when he announced that campaign manager Susie Wiles will be his White House chief of staff.

The future president did too an interview with NBC News where he says, among other things, that he “has no other choice” than to carry out the millions of deportations of illegal immigrants that he spoke about in the election campaign.

“Have no choice”

– We must of course make the border strong and powerful. At the same time, we want people to come here to our country. And I’m not the one to say “no, you can’t come in”. We want people to come here, says Donald Trump to NBC News.

The election promise has been questioned, among other things for the cost of carrying out the operation.

– It is not a matter of a price tag. We have no choice. When people have killed and murdered, Trump says.

He believes that the harsh words surrounding immigrants have not scared minority groups away from him, quite the opposite.

Lunch with Biden

– They care about the border and they want people to come here, but they have to come here with love for our country. They have to come here legally, says Trump.

The future president also talks about his conversations with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

– Very pleasant conversations. Very respectful on both sides, he says.

Trump says he and Biden have decided to have lunch together soon.

He also says he has spoken to “probably” 70 world leaders since Wednesday morning. Among them are Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
