Bosch receives support for this new proposal from committee member Titus Stam of the PvdA: “Yes, if it costs nothing, for sure. Then it’s just Uithof for us.” The VVD is also considering supporting the plan, although councilor Mariam Al-Saqaff is cautious. “If it costs nothing, then I will have to consult with my group. But then it is of course a lot more attractive.” The VVD opts for the name Uithof Science Park, which is also abbreviated to USP. “We have somewhat overlooked the Utrecht Uithof section,” says Al-Saqaff. “So for us, we would like it if it were both.”
