The horror film is still one of the most promising genres of all, which the streaming service Netflix also uses regularly. Time Cut was released here a few days ago, a new mix of slasher and science fiction that is currently proving to be a hit. It is in the streamer’s top 10 films currently in second place of the charts.

In the story of director Hannah Macpherson’s film, teenager Lucy Field (Madison Bailey) lost her sister Summer (Antonia Gentry) to a serial killer before she was born. In the present she finally comes across a time machine. With the she travels back to 2003 before the date of the crimeto take on the brutal murderer infamous as The Sweetly Slasher.

Time Cut only gets one on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes weak average of 20 percent. The Moviepilot community also punishes the sci-fi horror quite a bit with an average rating of 4.7. If you haven’t seen the film yet, you should be warned against watching it at this point.
