The former president also said in a speech on Sunday that he should never have left the White House after the 2020 election.
Republican presidential candidate in the United States Donald Trump said Sunday at a campaign event in Pennsylvania that he “never should have left” the White House after the 2020 election.
In the same speech, filled with conspiracy theories and profanity, Trump also attacked the American media and talked about shooting journalists.
In his speech, Trump referred to the bulletproof glasses that have been used at his outdoor events since the assassination attempt in July.
– I have this piece of glass here, but actually there is only fake news here. And if someone wanted to hit me, they’d have to shoot through the fake news. And I don’t really care about that, Trump said.
After receiving criticism for his comments suggesting violence, the Trump campaign later rushed to downplay them. Campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung suggested that Trump had implied that journalists themselves were in great danger and needed protection.
In his speech on Sunday, Trump also repeated his claim that the Democrats would lose Terrible for Harris only if the elections were fraudulent. In reality, polls have shown that Tuesday’s election is shaping up to be very tight.
