In the country, which has more than 240 million registered voters, more than 42 million of those who voted early went to the polls in person and 35 million voters sent their votes by mail.

On Tuesday, November 5, the big election day, voting will begin at 6:00 a.m. local time across the United States and end at 9:00 p.m. in New York. HOW DO US VOTERS VOTE?
Voters who want to vote in US elections first verify that they are registered in the system by showing their ID. Voters whose system registration is approved are printed with ballot papers and they are directed to the booths. Voters who mark their candidates then upload their ballots to the system through scanning machines. The machines scan the ballot, store it in a secure container, and display a message on the screen confirming that the vote has been completed successfully.

The US Electoral College gave special stickers and pens saying “I voted early” to voters who voted early. In addition, security forces stood guard in front of each election center 24/7 during the voting process and security measures were kept at a high level.
