The Veilguard can easily miss out on some powerful items, although almost every dealer sells them

There are tons of cool items in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but some of them can be easy to miss if you don’t walk through the world carefully.

What items are we talking about? The game world of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is full of all kinds of weapons, armor, accessories and other items. Among other things, you will find souvenirs to upgrade the workshop in the lighthouse and be able to carry out more updates.

You can also strengthen your character with permanent bonuses. You get this by buying certain items that easily get lost in the flood of items. They are often held right in front of your nose.

What are these bonuses? Most items you find in the game give you bonuses as long as you wear them. This applies to armor or rings, for example. You unlock other improvements to your character by using skills as you level up.

Then there are bonuses that you can simply buy from the dealers. Not everyone has these bonuses on offer in the form of various items, but it’s definitely worth taking a closer look at the retailers’ range.

Pay attention to the description texts that tell you what the item brings. Would you like two examples?

  • Dragon’s Booty: Permanently increases your health by +25
  • Kirkwall Selection 9:36: Permanently increases your damage by 1%
  • That may not sound like much, but you can find these bonuses at many merchants on the markets in Treviso, Minrathous, or other shops. If you collect enough of them, it will pay off and you will noticeably strengthen your character.

As already written in the examples, the bonuses are permanent. So you keep them for the rest of the game. Whether you’re playing a mage build, a rogue, or a strong warrior, these bonuses will help regardless of class and playstyle.

So we recommend that you keep an eye out for dealers as you venture through the busier areas and browse what they have to offer. Most permanent bonuses don’t cost too much gold either. For further help with the game, please visit MeinMMO: Dragon Age: The Veilguard – All Guides
