But the merch garments have caused commotion in several polling stations during early voting.
In the state of Texas, a 63-year-old man attacked a voter – because he was asked to take off his clothes in MagainfocloseMagaMAGA stands for Make America Great Again and is Donald Trump’s election slogan. -cap before he would stand in the voting booth on Thursday, reports BBC.

Struck in the face
The man was asked to remove his cap because it is illegal to wear political clothing at and in polling places in Texas.
– The voice receiver informed the man that it is unacceptable and escorted the man out of the room, says local police Javier Salazar according to the channel.
Then he went on the attack.
– The victim tried to push the suspect away. He then turned around and punched the victim in the face. He struck several blows, says local police Javier Salazar.
However, the 69-year-old voice recipient managed without serious injuries.

Released on bail
The suspect was arrested, but released on bail, which was set at 30,000 dollars, equivalent to 318,000 Swedish kronor.
The police are now investigating whether the incident will be investigated as suspected assault or violence against an official.
With only two days left until the election, about 75 million Americans have voted early, reports ABC.
According to local police Javier Salazar, there have been several fights and incidents in Texas since early voting opened – due to political merch.
– There is nothing about this that is worth getting hurt or going to jail for. This election will take place regardless. One side will win and one side will lose. That’s just the way it is, he says.
