Poepon played in the youth of Ajax and then played for Roda JC, NAC, Sparta and De Graafschap. Abroad, he played in France, Azerbaijan and Turkey. He has been playing for IJsselmeervogels since last summer. He has scored two goals and two assists in thirteen games this season.
