Fluoride testing in national competitions for the first time in the Finnish Cup
In the Finnish Cup, fluoride testing of skis is used for the first time in national competitions.
The director of the competition series, Hannu Koivusalo, says that fluoride testing requires a lot from both the competition organizer and the athlete. Fluoride testing is performed in a closed area in the immediate vicinity of the finish and starting area before and after the race.
– It is unlikely that the so-called fluoride carts will come from there, but after the weekend we will be wiser, he says.
