The negotiations during the UN meeting on biological diversity, COP16, are dragging on.
The idea was that the meeting, which is being held in Colombia, would end on Friday and lead to an agreement, but the countries are still too far apart on the major disputed issues, several media reports.
Sweden’s chief negotiator Charlotta Sörqvist tells Dagens Nyheter that she believes there may be negotiations during the night.
Sweden’s climate minister Romina Pourmokhtari (L) tells SVT Nyheter that there is a risk that there will be no agreement.
