As the story of Dragon Age: The Veilguard progresses, you must decide to save one of two cities and damn the other. We have all the consequences and decision-making aids for you.
Spoiler alert! This article is about a decision you face after recruiting the Gray Warden Davrin. If you don’t want to know anything more about it until you’re ready, you should close this article now.
What decision is it about? Once you have recruited Davrin during the main story, you will return to the intersection. There you will be greeted by Neve and Lucanis with bad news: Minrathous and Treviso are threatened by dragons at the same time.
Unfortunately, your resources are limited and you can only save one of the two cities. The other will fall victim to corruption.
Here you can read what the consequences of your decision are. We also have concrete decision-making aids for you.
Save Treviso or Minrathous? These are the respective consequences
The consequences are basically the same for both cities:
You save Minrathous
If you choose to save Minrathous, Treviso will be destroyed. Here you fight the corrupted fire dragon Seartooth Vyrantus.
While Neve’s approval of you increases, Lucanis will disappear for a while to help his destroyed home.
You save Treviso
If you support Treviso, Minrathous will fall. You face the corrupted ice dragon Corius the Icetalon.
Lucanis will be incredibly grateful to you. In return, Neve will leave your group for the moment and help build Minrathous.
Decision support – How should you decide?
Of course, we can’t tell you which of the two cities you should choose. That’s up to you. However, we would like to give you two points to consider:
Who do you want to romance? The NPC, whose home is in ruins, is correspondingly upset. He or she won’t blame you, but increasing their approval will be more complicated. A romance perhaps even impossible.
If Neve did it to you, you should save Minrathous. Conversely, the same applies: If you want to ensnare Lucanis, you protect Treviso.

Which faction do you prefer? Similar to the companions, the same goes for the factions. The faction’s merchant in the destroyed city disappears. So you no longer have access to his weapons and gear sets. In addition, you can no longer make it to the highest popularity level.
If you want to continue working closely with the shadow dragons, save Minrathous. If you want the crows on your side, fight for Treviso.
