A bridge on national road 550 in Norwegian Ullenvang, east of Bergen, has broken as a result of extensive rain that caused large masses of water from the river.
Pictures from the scene show how the bridge has snapped in half, Norwegian reports The daily newspaper.
A short distance from the bridge, the road collapsed under a stationary car. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The extreme weather “Jakob” is behind the rainy weather.
Norwegian police warn against traveling on the roads.
