In Sweden, the district court of Gothenburg has sentenced to prison persons who, according to their accounts, have chased pedophiles. The sentences of four men and one woman were for assaults and robberies, says Swedish radio.
The convicts had appeared on social media as a 14-year-old girl and managed to lure men to a certain place by exchanging messages. When the men reached the destination, they were beaten and robbed.
The beatings were also filmed, and videos were uploaded to social media platforms. The convicts have connections to the Pedophile Hunters Sweden network, which says it hunts down people who sexually abuse children.
The sentences came from actions between February and April.
