It was undoubtedly one of the last Wii U games not yet to have been transferred to the Nintendo Switch, but it is now done: Xenoblade Chronicles X will arrive on the Japanese manufacturer’s hybrid console on March 20 2025. An announcement which comes for the 10th anniversary of the game, released on Wii U in 2015 and which did not allow the game to express its full potential, the fault of substandard technology. We imagine that the move to Switch will make it possible to overcome this and find this post-apo atmosphere in the year 2054, a period when humanity fled the Earth following an intergalactic war. We will play a member of the New Los Angeles (NLA) colony, with the mission of participating in the reconstruction of a new home on Mira, a gigantic hostile planet. And it is in this open world environment which extends over five fascinating continents that we will have to fight for the future of humanity.
