– It will be great fun. I also think it was good that you were a little off for three months, because then you got this hunger, says Tara Babulfath to SVT Sport.
After the Olympic success, the 18-year-old has been able to enjoy some of the success and has been in demand in various contexts, including as a prize-giver at several large galas. But during these three months, when she was not allowed to compete, she also spent a lot of time on the build-up training for the upcoming season.
– We have used this for the past three months at most. We have been training hard. We have started working on new judo techniques that I will hopefully get in next season, says Babulfath.
The first competition takes place in November
– It has been hard training, so that we are extra ready now for the next competition. Maybe something good will even come out of this. I actually think so.
The first competition since the bronze match in Paris will be the U23 EC in Poland on November 15.
– It’s a lot of self-confidence, because I know what I’m capable of. But otherwise it’s nothing special, just full focus on just being the Tara that I am and going into the competition and driving.
