Two people suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in rural Oxford County, Ontario Provincial Police say.

It was about 12:30 pm on Saturday when police say that OPP officers and Oxford County firefighters and paramedics were called to a crash on Plank Line, which runs north-south including between the towns of Ingersoll and Tillsonburg. Police were not more specific about where along Plank Line the crash occurred, but said it was in the township of South-West Oxford.
The crash involved two passenger vehicles, police said, adding that both drivers were taken to hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
The road was closed for several hours while officers investigated, police said. There was no indication of charges being ugly.
Driver suffers serious injuries in Norwich area
A driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle collision in Norwich Township on Friday.

A passenger vehicle left the road and struck a tree on Mall Road between Byerlay Side Road and Middletown Line, said Oxford OPP.

The driver, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries that police say are not considered to be life-threatening.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours to allow for police investigation.
