Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate in the Middle East. Following Netanyahu’s harsh statements against Iran, Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi also made important statements.
THEY ANNOUNCED “THEY WILL TARGET THE PLACES THEY DID NOT HIT”
According to the statement made by the Israeli army, Halevi made statements regarding the agenda at Ramon Air Base.
Halevi said that Israel could target Iran again if Tehran responds to the attack on October 26.
Halevi “warned” Tehran not to respond to Israel’s attack, arguing that otherwise they would “target places they did not hit” in Iran.
5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES IN ISRAEL’S TEHRAN ATTACK
Israel announced that it targeted military points in Iran on October 26, in retaliation for Iran’s missile attacks on October 1, and that the attack was completed successfully.
Iran had announced that some military points in Tehran and the Khuzestan and Ilam provinces in the west of the country were targeted and that their air defense systems successfully resisted the attacks, but limited damage occurred at some points.
It was announced that 4 soldiers and 1 civilian lost their lives in the attacks.
NETANYAHU ANNOUNCED ISRAEL’S LONG-TERM STRATEGY
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, in his speech at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), made statements about the air strike against Iran on October 26.
Claiming that the air attack on Iran was comprehensive, Netanyahu argued that Tehran’s proxy forces in the region failed to repel the attack.
Netanyahu stated that Israel’s long-term strategy is to “eliminate Iran’s axis of evil” and said that they will not give up on these goals.
