NASA captured the giant explosion on the Sun Warning for

NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) recorded a powerful solar flare that peaked at 10:19 a.m. on October 26, 2024. It was reported that the explosion had the potential to cause disruptions in radio signals, navigation systems and electrical networks around the world.

IT ALSO PRESENTS A RISK FOR ASTRONAUTS AND SPACE VEHICLES

It was reported that the explosion, which also poses a risk to astronauts and spacecraft in orbit, is categorized in class X1.8.

Among explosions classified according to their intensity, ‘Class X’ is considered the most powerful explosion. While such explosions can cause outages in communications, GPS and power grids, solar flares also pose a radiation risk for astronauts and spacecraft. (DHA)
