According to local media, the drought problem experienced in many regions of Greece as a result of the climate crisis caused the water levels in dams to decrease.
THE WATER IS MUDDY AND FULL OF MAGROWS
For this reason, muddy water containing small worms began to flow from the taps in Corinth.
Local people stated that they could not use tap water.
Within the framework of the climate crisis, water resources have decreased and water levels in many dams have decreased as a result of precipitation being below seasonal norms in Greece, which this year witnessed the highest average summer temperature since 1960, when measurements began to be recorded. For this reason, many structures that had been under the dam for decades were resurfaced.
