Armand Duplanti’s new message to the world of athletics: “I love it”

For the fourth year in a row, Armand Duplantis invites the rest of the pole vaulting elite to his own competition in Uppsala.
On March 13, 2025, it is time for a new edition of “Mondo Classic” at the IFU arena.

Duplantis sees the competition as a perfect warm-up for the indoor WC in China the following week – where the Swede intends to take home another gold medal.

“I had a fantastic season this year, with the world record in the Olympic final being the most incredible thing I’ve experienced. A childhood dream that came true. I love pole vaulting and constantly want to challenge myself to greater heights,” says Armand Duplantis in a press release.
