Krasner accused Musk of violating consumer protection laws by using “vague or misleading statements” that could create confusion, and stated that he filed a lawsuit against Musk on the grounds that he “organized an illegal raffle.”
The hearing regarding the preliminary injunction request of Krasner, who wants an urgent injunction on the issue before the presidential elections, will be held on November 1.
The US Department of Justice also warned that this event organized by Musk could violate federal laws.

Musk announced that he would give $1 million to the person to be chosen every day until November 5 among those who signed the campaign of the political action committee called “America PAC”, which supports Trump in swing states.
