Apple unveiled its major AI venture Apple Intelligence this summer.
It includes many new functions such as text summaries, a smarter Siri and better image editing. For complex questions, Apple has a collaboration with OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT.
Apple Intelligence recently began rolling out in the US in conjunction with the iOS 18 and iOS 18.2 updates, but it has not yet arrived in Europe and Sweden.
One of the reasons for this is the EU’s strict regulations around new AI technology.

But on October 28, Apple announced that Apple Intelligence will come to iPhones and iPads in the EU in the spring of 2024.
“This will include many of the core features of Apple Intelligence, including writing tools, Genmoji, a redesigned Siri with richer language understanding, ChatGPT integration and more,” Apple writes in a press release.
As previously known, only the iPhone 15 series and later models will receive the new technology.
