An air attack in Kharkiv killed at least four people early Tuesday, reported the mayor of Ukraine’s second city, whose capital was also targeted overnight according to authorities.

Overnight, Russia bombed several buildings in downtown Kharkiv. Monday October 28, Derjprom, the emblematic constructivist architectural ensemble built in the 1920s, on what is now Freedom Square.
Derjprom had been the first skyscraper in the Soviet Union at the time and also used by Ukrainian industry when Kharkiv was the capital ofUkraine Soviet. A symbol and this bombing greatly affects the Kharkivians and beyond.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs deplored that the world had not protected this building, recognized as one of the Ukrainian sites in danger by UNESCO.
In addition to these new destructions, the Russia also bombed the central hospital in Kharkiv, there were at least four dead. Elsewhere in the country, in Krivyï Rih, a medical center and residential buildings were bombed, causing one death and twelve injured.
In kyiv, material damage was recorded after new drone strikes during the night, leading, among other things, to the explosion of a gas pipe which damaged several buildings.
