Every season Destiny 2 brings to light a new weapon meta. With Episode: Revenant, Bungie has packed an old weapon set into the Enclave for you to build. One of these weapons is currently one of the best shotguns in PvP.
Which weapon is meant? Prophet of Doom is an arc shotgun with legendary rarity. The weapon has a precision housing and shoots shot.
The Pump was considered a mediocre weapon, but with Episode: Revenant it was brought back again and this time it can even be built. The perks that the Prophet has are a strong option, especially for PvP. We’ll show you on MeinMMO where you can get the weapon and which perks you should focus on.
A strong option for all PvP players
How do I get the weapon? You get the weapon from the second encounter of the “Garden of Salvation” raid. Many people don’t like the raid and if anyone has tried it, it’s only to take part in the Exo-Quest of Divinity.
Despite this, the encounter is easy to carry out and can be completed in just a few minutes with an agreed team. Make sure the raid is active in the weekly rotation. Then you can farm the encounter with a checkpoint in a relaxed manner.
With a bit of luck, you’ll even get a blueprint for the weapon. Bungie has included the shotgun in the Enclave catalog and once you have dismantled 5 copies with Deepsight Resonance or extracted their essence, you can build it.
Which rolls should I focus on? The current Godroll in PvP is as follows:
Why is the weapon so good? The pump has powerful perk combinations that allow you to eliminate your enemies even from a distance. The power and handling are also in a good position and with the perk “Danger detected, danger averted” you can quickly draw and fire the weapon even in dangerous situations.
There are now a lot of shotguns in the loot shooter, but with a little grind you can get a strong option that you can shape to your liking. You can find out more about the current loot situation in Destiny 2 here: Bungie finally admits that there is something wrong with the loot in Destiny 2
