The instruments were purchased last week, just before they were to be auctioned, by those involved in collaboration with TivoliVredenburg. “We have achieved this together with parents, teachers and stakeholders. Music starts with music education and we think it is important for the city that this is preserved,” says Maarten Bartstra. He is present on behalf of TivoliVredenburg to arrange the transport of the instruments today.
