The top Ethiopian ran the new half marathon ME

Yomif Kejelcha beat the old ME time by one second.

Ethiopian Yomif Kejelcha ran a half marathon world record in Valencia, Spain. The long-haired Ethiopian finished in 57 minutes and 30 seconds.

That’s how he beat Uganda by a second Jacob Kiplimon of the previous ME period in the name. He had run it three years ago.

27-year-old Kejelcha is known as a hard track runner. At 5,000 meters, he has twice been fourth at the World Championships at his best.

In the World Indoor Track Championships, he is Kejelcha has achieved two world championships at 3,000 meters.
