At least ten people are said to be seriously injured and several are still trapped under the truck.
An initial police investigation shows that the male truck driver, who was transporting a large amount of cargo, collided with people standing at the bus station.
– We are treating the incident as a terrorist attack where a truck drove into a group of people, says police spokesperson Arye Doron.
Shot to death
The suspicion that he would have received help from additional suspects is being investigated by the police. The truck driver was shot dead, according to Haaretz.
